Hi

Planning on a diff up grade to make engine rev less, what ratio diffs are best from what and where can I get a pair???

Cheers steve

What engine ? I would only go for 3'54 Rangie diffs with a good petrol engine or a 200tdi up front. Tried them in my 2.25 diesel and it really struggled to pull the taller gearing, even when rebuilt and running well. Far to much 3rd gear work, soon put the 4.7s back in. Much better "Driveability"

High ratio transfer box is much better! And as divie said, you really want more power to make use of higher gearing.

Maybe try bigger tyres? 7.50s liike 109s have as standard look good on an 88.

I'm planning a high ratio transfer box for my 109 at some point, overdrive has just blown up.
