you checked the inner shafts into the Cv's? these are weak on 300 axles/cv's 32 spline.

From the noise that i was hearing its coming from the n/s/f ive checked all componets found all to be ok still waiting for the part to come but double checking everythink seems ok plus its ****in down with rain always the way when working on your front garden
Agreed, I've got loads to do, Luckily not urgent so can wait for a better day. Or at least not raining anyway.

there is only a few parts that can fail drive member ,cv ,shaft and diff and crown wheel and pinion, did it drive without engaging diff lock
