Hi All,
Im having a bit of a carry on with my rear pinion seal. I have a late 200tdi which has ftc5258 on the front and frc8220 on the back. So I have both seals now.
While pushing the new FRC8220 on the back, it seems to have pushed the metal sleeves that sit in the hole back. One sleeve i got out, the other is a bit more stuck. I am wondering if i take the housing off, finish pushing the sleeve out and fit a FTC5258? It seems the simpliest solution because im going to have to remove the housing anyway and the 5258 seems a lot easier to fit than 8220.
Ive added a picture for your viewing, the sleeve has been pushed in on the bottom right hand side!
Cheers
Pete
