Hi does anyone know if is posible to clean diesel injectors . it seems to drop a cylinder at 3000rpm.
if i the leave it to idle for about 1 min it makes a loud noise and a puff of diesel smelling smoke comes out the back .
it is ok to drive it normal but give it some stick then i have to sometimes pull over to wait for it to pick up again

GIVE it a good dose of injector cleaner into the tank it cant do any harm+it might just solve your problem,,,,,i use F E D ,works great for me but STP do one aswell,cheaper than new injectors or rebuilds ,i dose mine up every couple of months mind you i dont drive fast so it gets bunged up............hope this helps ...dave

Could just be your fuel filter needs changing

confirm . STP also has bigger grey bottle with (they say) is a complete clean of the system . work every time less than 200kms to see and hear the differences.

thanks i will give it a new fuel filter and stp it and go from there

I agree with the new filter option. My dse did the exact same thing. New filter on and its off again. I found that wilco/motorsave does them the cheapest round here, about £5.50 (not original though)
I keep a spare one in the back just in case.
