Hi all,

Can anyone possibly suggest a new Headgasket for my S3... I have been searching and found so many I can not see the wood for the trees anymore. I have heard that the copper gaskets are not great too which has added to my confusion.

Any recommendations would be great.

Eh? What's wrong with ERR3618 DIESEL HEAD GASKET | shop | www.lrseries.com

I didn't realise there was much choice apart from pattern or oem. Wouldn't bother with copper (if they're available) because they need annealing and a sealant.

I would go for composite one.

Just get a composite gasket, they are better than copper!

Thanks guys, and is the Britpart ok or should I only go with OEM? 10 times the price difference...

Britpart stuff is sometimes oem! Best to think about oem or pattern instead.
