Hi all in Hippo land, I am looking for a diagnostics program that will report on ABS sensors and othe brake related stuff, prefferably free but I don't mind paying for the right program TIA

You'll need to post the model and year of your Freelander - they're different diags.

Hi thanks for the reply my Freelander is a 2000 TD4

I believe that although you've got a TD4, it may still be to early for a 'standard' ODB2 reader - and even if it did work, it may not give you ABS readout.

I think the lowest cost unit that will work on a 2000 TD4 is a iCarSoft unit - I think i930. Its about £100. It is a hand held unit, I don't think you can hook it up to a PC/tablet to customise the interface.

I'm not absolutely sure though.

Hi, not that its much use but my 2000 1.8 petrol cant be read by a ODB2 reader, so make sure you double check. Best of luck

Hawkeye will cover all Freelander 1 stuff but it's more eggspensive.
