Looks like a solenoid change is needed. Check all the resistance readings on the auto box connector to confirm. Covered in detail by Hippo. Search for tests to carry out before you spend money !

*zero resistance on the 2-4 brake valve pin .. as expected .. be swapping out that solenoid this week .. looks a bit tight in there getting the cover off .. will let ya know how it goes.. any pointers for a first timer?

Move oil cooler out of way. No need to remove it.

Alright ladies and gents .. truly appreciate this forum .. got me through the process quite well Up and running again .. even had a delay on parts delivery here in the midwestern US .. so had an extra day to get started on changing the rubber on the dirtbike project.. all went well .. nicely engineered for service really ..
