Hey folks.. i'm working like mad to get my 90 up to speck for some laning etc, but am a bit concerned as have a roof rack and tyre up there, but if all goes well i should be re mot'd and ready in a week or 2, if i'd be welcome on anything, i'd like to meet up and have some fun. I'm finally getting to a point where i have some confidence in the old girl to tackle a little.

Yayy nice one Hawky ...just waiting for the emmets to foxtrot Oscar and we'll be on it :D

No hurry, we wont be going out until the Autumn, too many emmetts! ;)

And the roof rack definitely would not survive one of our trips!:D

Will do, maybe you could join us for a pub meet too, if us westerners head up your way at sometime. :)
+1 Pub meet would be nice! :)

If there is interest from up East, we could try up Bodmin or similar again. Make it a bit more central for all!

I think the looney bin would be apt :D

Moving swiftly on, I'm putting together a list of Betsy's symptoms for JP, starting with my dodgy door, he might enjoy looking at a non engineering problem :D:D

Well, you are probably right about that, although I don't think that is considered a pc way to describe it now! ;) They are probably called Treatment Centres for the Terminally Bewildered now, or summink! :D

JP will probably say bodge it up with filler and metal rods, same as I would. And he is probably right, good ones are like rocking horse ****, and more expensive. Unless you want to go series, plenty of they about.

The actual door is ok, it just doesn't want to close proper like ...gotta slam the bugger - does me head in ..the passenger side closes effortlessly with a beautiful 'click' must've worn it out

It's probably the latch needs a bit of adjustment not too big a job couple of screws to undo and move 10min job at most I alter mine every time the rubbers settle down

Was just going to suggest latch adjustment, but I see Mart has got there first ! :)
