TM can you bring some sunshine down from a The Oval ....don't keep it all to yourself, we're drowning down ere!
It is roasting up here, clouded over a bit, but you can still feel the heat in the air! We aren't at the Oval today, we are watching in a pub on tv! :)
Supposed to be going tomorrow, but it is looking a bit unikely, unless the England batsmen get it together.
Weather here is supposed to break down next week, heavy rain and thunderstorms. Doesnt sound like I need to bring any of that home coals to Newcastle, innit! :D

Plenty of sun over here! :)
I'm home in ten days, I'll drag it back with me!
Saw breaks in Spain in the local paper up here. They were boasting about 25 degrees, it is actually 29 in Lunnon today! :D

Has anyone tried any lanes around Lee Mill or Ivybridge area? There are a few on the map Mike psoted a few pages ago, and they match up with what is on here

I walked past the one west of Ivybridge when I was working there for a couple of days, it seemed suitable and is labled as an "Unmetalled Road" on a green sign.

Being unemployed has given me a thirst for lanes and adventure, even though its only been 2 days. Shouldn't the council have given me a house and Sky by now?

Don't post it, but if you PM me some co-ordinates, I will look on Trailwise for you! :)

AFAIK the unmetalled road sign has no legal relevance , just a sign.
If marked on the map as a Byway Open to All Traffic, and nothing on DCC site about TROs or modification orders, should be ok! ;)
Were there any tyre marks?

The one to the west of Ivybridge (heading north from the country lane) is probably Stibbs lane, steady smooth rocky climb then a big 'puddle' at the top and becomes a rutted farm track. Often trundle up that one, there's a few other nice lanes around the South Hams not too far from Ivybridge.

I'm just waiting on a couple of applications, have an interview with the met office for data storage of their big 'pooter. And also NHS as IT support for the fun equipment. Do you know of some available jobs? :p

Stibbs is the one! The misses lives close to that, and she is getting a new car soon and need to show her she needs a Landy for the rough terrain around her house.

We are around. You could always call by here wiv yer series if yu mind to! :)
Yeah, I would like that, the series is coming up to Plymouth with me for a good run but I will pop in next week!

I have fitted the wright off road kit already, bit of a bugger to fit the seats but I'm more than happy with the outcome.
