i think i understand :) - so lots of suspension flex / articulation works smashingly with the trutracs i suppose

if you have one wheel spinning with zero resistance then you can still get stuck. You can drive around this if your cleaver. Personally high flex suspension is for show, lockers for go.

better to have as many wheels on the ground as possibly rather than flapping around in mid air

WLM i disagree, you could argue better stability. But if the wheel is close to the ground at max droop silly flexing like you see then there is bugger all weight on it and it will still take x weight when the vehicles weight is put on it.

The money involved in getting lots of flex (properly) could imo be better spent on lockers and traction aids. If you have lockers and want to have some show then great.

A wheel in the air with a locker is no problem

series motors with poor suspenion travel (in comparison) and lockers are by far better than any flex kit you can buy.

We could argue the points all day same as wide vs skinny tyres Frankly I haven't got time I gotta bolt my roll age down! And you have better thins to do I'm sure wlm!

We will agree to disagree!!

Good video that. Does indeed show the difference between the two. I should get my ARB's fitted after xmas when im home.

i only mentioned the suspension as if the trutrac requires both wheels to be touching the ground, surely the extra flex would be of great benefit?

me n jai always agree to disagree

as i said earlier

people with arbs say there better than detroit trutrac etc

people with truetrac say there better than arbs

people who dont have trick suspension say u dont need it and its rubbish

people who have trick suspension swear by it

do you see the pattern emerging

all i know what i have works for me

and yes jase now have cones on the axle and springs now attached to the chassis works loads better

not according to some people the wheel apparantly works better in mid air as theres a special time continium that the wheel can get traction on;)

Well i tried my locker and trutac out and what a diffrence I'll try get a vid up. It just drags through up and over where other people just couldn't get.

The locker is locked simple as. The trutrac us a torque biasing limited slip working with gears not clutch/ friction plates, equal traction on both tyres if one lifts into the air it can spin faster as it doesn't lock but for simple maths 75% of the torque to the front will be lost but you get atleast 25% of the torque if,

As for extreme travel suspention if you have both that and locking diffs even better, if you can just afford one them I'd have locking diffs, followed a disco with massive travel suspention and my 90 went further with the diffs than the disco with trick suspention
