how are you doing the job kieran? i find the easiest way is hub off and then stub axle off - the stub axle bolts are usually pretty easy, better with a windy gun though!!!
Kieran you know you can't get the halfshaft out from behind the swivel ball, it has to come out the front, that's why I say about taking stub axle off.
That way you can check cv joint whilst you're in there, and you have to pull out the drive member so you check that shaft also as part of the job.

Well look at it this way at least yours has all four wheels on,only got three on mine,and might have to take another off,lol, if you need a lift it tomorrow mate ring me. As I'll probs want a break from mine.
