Where abouts are you thinking or planning on going. Im new to this too. Mine is standard - no winch just AT tyres. Is it 'do able'?

Thats a bit of a drive from Manchester? Better set your alarm lol

Whoa Whoa Whoa fellas! Are we saying it's gonna a be a long way from Manchester? I have done Derbyshire lanes before, as long as it's not the far east areas it's all close enough for me.

Better let me know what you're thinking mark please cos that v8 can put a man out of business!! :(

jesus. lol ok for most greenlaning you shouldnt need a winch, i dont know of any in derbyshire where you'd need one and certainly not any the noobs would be doing.

ok guys, count me in defo on this as long as your stickingh to the area, anyone driving up from manchester we could get a small convoy going

Hi guys was going to ask if i could tag along but unfortunatly i'm working:frusty:
keep me posted if/when you plan any other trips
cheers Andy

Convoy sounds good. Im in East Manchester near the M60 Denton junction. Let me know a
time and place and I'll be there!

Also:

Wife wants to know at what age can the kids go along....?

Yeah man sounds good, I've done buxton/south peaks/chapelELF/north staffs border etc, there's some bangin lanes round there.

Will confirm in the week but should be fine for Sunday.

Sweet :)

just looked at the pics windyone posted - they look really good. Im not anywhere near that standard yet! lol

Have a good trip guys, hopefully I'll be able to join you on the next one as I've got to work next weekend.

You won't find many lanes like them in the uk fellas so worry not!

I've had some hardcore times round south peaks area recently, mainly sill kill rock steps than deep mud though.

A winch may be handy, but I didn't use mine once (I have got lockers though, tee hee!)

Winch is optional though anyway if you're out with a team, especially if members of said team have got winches fitted.

Should be a winner if the weather stays **** too :)

yeah, one of the few times when i hope for rain lol.
we've got plenty of equipment so dont panic.
plenty of great rocky areas, Stanage edge & Roych clough among the best! pretty gutted about chapelgate as thats one of my favourites!

as for kids, my daughter 1st came with me at 4mnths , she loves it! :D

is everyone ok meeting at ChapelELF morrisons at half 9 then? postcode for flash people with sat nav ;) - SK23 0HZ
