OK from previous post you will know I fitted a fpr to my td5 engine as it was leaking quite bad. I thought by fitting this it would solve my starting issues but alas no can drive it for about 3 miles then it starts to chug chug then cuts out takes about 5min to start again pump in tank sounds awful high pitched buzz it could be that but fuel filter looks like its never been change so gonna replace that first in case pump is struggling becaue filter is choked. What do you guys think any advice will be much appriciated as usual. The scot

The only time I have had trouble with my TD5 engine tripping jumping and choking was because of the fuel filter being blocked - I learned this by elimination having changed the injector loom, air filter, and various sensors - sometimes it IS that simple

Start at the engine end, find every filter and change it.
Saves a lot of bother in the long run.

Sounds like injectior washers to me, engine gasses are getting into the fuel system and that' why it take so long to restart
Have a Google,

I had something very similar in my Td5 110 and that was the lift pump, but it was noisy all the time, I did the filter (and filter head) and then Injector washers, loom and then eventually the lift pump and that fixed it.
If it does turn into that there is a great method of changing them that involves a bit of hole making but saves you dropping the fuel tank, its on here somewhere , best of luck.
