Tried a search before anyone says......:violin:
I'm servicing the defender today and will be doing the gearbox, transfer box, axles etc......read a few topics and a bit confused about what oils to buy. Can some kind person tell me what oils to get for these............

axles and transfer box ep90 or 80w/90 get 10 litres ,gear box mtf94 or dexron 2 or 3 atf get 5 litres

just one more thing, whats the difference between GL4 and GL5 oils?

gl5 is supposed to attack yellow metals ,gl4 is normally used
