Steve - That's looks like it alright. I see Bearmach do one. Just need to find out now the difficulty of the job - there's bound to be a youtube vid somewhere. I don't like the idea of cutting a new section and welding insitu - maybe patch for now and review next year as its only holed on one side on an easily accessible bit.NRC4171... Assuming its the same as my '85 110. I think you have to seperate body and chassis to fit it. I was replacing the rear half chassis so could get it out, otherwise it's a body off job. I've heard rumour you can cut it in half to fit then weld it up in situ but never tried it.

I wonder if you can drill the rivets out of the triangular body panel under the C post (5 minute job) would removing that panel give you enough access to slide the crossmember out? Otherwise it is trapped by the A frame chassis crossmember. Unfortunately I can't take a look at my Landie till the weekend.

There are 2 piece crossmembers available or at least there used to be, that were designed to be welded together in situ.
