Can anyone recommend additional security for a landrover defender td5. Ive been looking at the "clutch claw" is it any good or what else would u recommend?

first thing i would do is get a top notch alarm clifford with all the trimmings.then get the claw,wheel lock, ect

but a working door lock would be nice

thanks Buzzland, bought a def 90 td5 which I collect next week and was wanting some extra security.....like the high vis look of the disklok, what size would I need for a standard td5 steering wheel as I see they come in different sizes.

I'd go for a disklok as well (very visible, easy to use and store behind the front seat) - I've got a medium on my td5 90.

take a wheel of and put on axle stands lol

that's what im going to do when i go on hols, take all wheels off

no point to clutch claw you can change gear without the clutch !

without wanting to state WHY a clutch claw is no good at protecting your landy all I can say is get a disclock.

How about a tracker?

If it gets nicked via crane or jump started you would know.

Try ringing Carrotech on 01379 854600 who I got my tracker from. They do them at £299. Cool thing is I can see where I've been greenlaning aswell!!

Lets just say that phone signals can be blocked shall we. MOST (not all) trackers use GSM technology. I can block BOTH types of tracking device WITHOUT a jammer. I have had years of practice mind.
