Hi everyone. I have just joined the forum and have just bought my first landy. It is a 1994 90 200tdi CSW with a genuine lady owner for the last 17 years and only 61000 miles and a fsh. I intend to keep it forever. Simple first question, the heater and vent controls to the right of the dash seem jammed in one place and it seems the levers will bend rather than move if I force them. Any ideas on the best way to free them up. To be honest it could be that they have never been moved. Much appreciated.

Both of those controls go to the big black box under the bonnet at the back right (as you look at it). They are attached with bowden cables that can be unscrewed at the heater box end and the controls moved/oiled to free them up.
Unless they are stuck at the dash end in which case three screws and you can take the control cover off and have a good look.

Unless they are all different from mine, one of them goes to the heater box to adjust the flap on top which is the otter or colder air feed through, and the other one works the flappy thing which diverts the air to either the screen vents or the inside blower vents.

The one in the middle of the dash controls the air intake and the fan.
