Thanks for the photo AI203 ;)
Been looking on the internet for one but haven't had any luck, might have to repair the one i have. Bit of a fiddly job that i don't want to have to do, got plenty of work to do.

Why dont you fire off that picture to YRM and see if they can help you?

Pleased the piccy has been of some help. I could be wrong, but I think it's fairly unusual for that area of the frame to get that bad. I'm thinking you could probably find a scrap door with that area intact. You could cut it out and weld it in to yours.

Worth a try, Mick. I think they would happily give advice if they couldn't do/get one.

I’ve put the part in citric acid to clean overnight, i’ll post a pic tomorrow and i’ll email YRM one as-well. Second hand doors seem to be a bit pricey just for the one part, but i’ll have a look for one.

Yes, they can be, but I was thinking a proper, worthless scrap one. They usually go from the bottom up and are beyond viable repair before the rot gets that high. Someone on here might read this and have one. You never know..........

How did you put it in acid?

hard to tell where spot welds are when the panel has rusted, all the little rust dents look like welds.
Yeah, it's a bit thin up the top right hand side. I never focussed on it when I was doing my doors, so thought they were welded in. Not so bad if you can pop rivet them back in.
