Can anyone advice on a autobox oil cooler set up for a defender V8? So far i've been told the dog brush type used on the classic range rovers corrode badly, the ones off the disco v8's are very flimsy, and the ends can crack \ come right off.

I was thinking that, as classic range rovers \ disco's and defender chassis are all pretty much the same dimentions and shape and the auto box is the same place, more or less, that there must be a cooler and pipes that will fit, standard?

I used the standard discovery auto pipes, as far rorward as the front of front cross member, then cut them off I used a pajero engine oil cooler (£25 of the bay) , and connected using hyd hose and double hose clips (extra security) sits just in front of rad bolted to bottom rad frame and bonnet closing panel support arm , works fine :)
