Stunning piece of work...
Is it just me or that defender looks like its smiling.:)
Keep up the good work mate.

Didn't get to do too much today because of the football, but plugged all my breathers into the 5 way manifold, bottom three are the front/rear/cam cover breathers, side two go up the snorkel

What did use on the roof? Rattle cans or out of a tin and a roller? Why not wrap the roof? I imagine it would be a ball ache in the wind outside

Ok so heres an update of what iv been up to,

Take as much off as I can and do it in two sections, around the windscreen as one and below the little ledge/around the vents as the other

When you put the breather up the snorkel did you put a u bend on the end? It looks like it is pointing straight up and water could enter.

Not yet. It's not really bendy pipe, I suppose u could try heat to bend it. To be honest I'd be impressed if much water managed to find its way down there lol

I was thinking more like rain over a long time as they say every little bit helps.. Cracking thread by the way.:D

A few updates today, new door handles arrived, will be nice to be able to open the doors now

Looks really good! I'm just rebuilding my 90 and I was going to paint it but i think I'll wrap it now! I imagine it will be easy with all of the panels completely off! Keep up the good work!

So now officially the whole front end of the car is wrapped, its just these panels left on the whole car unwrapped

Quick job this evening, stop the leak from the rocker cover! Had a new genuine land rover gasket here for a while now, so finally got round to fitting it.

Covers off, can see where its leaking where the oil is sat on the mating surfaces on the left hand side

Runs really nicely now, especially the gearbox, one of the claims of this difflock evolution 1 oil was that it transforms the feel of the box, and it actually really does, gear change is far slicker, and I no longer get it sticking in 4 or 2nd when changing down, so id highly recommend this gearbox oil even if it is expensive
