Hi All,

My Landy decided it was hot and tired on the motorway today with coolant leaking from the following valve/plastic part. Presume it got stuck/failed, any other suggestions? Any idea on part number for me to replace it, your quick response is much appreciated as I want to order it tomorrow so I can make my Landy better!!

Depending on where the leak is I think that they are:-
Heater Valve Assembly - JQD500080
Outlet Hose - LR028380
Inlet Hose - JHB501640
Just check that they are the right ones for your landy.

Thanks Doey68, will check hoses in the morning, fingers crossed its just the Valve Assembly which I've now ordered. Told the neighbours it's not the Landy, its the crappy plastic Italian made valve that let me down! Can't believe how defensive I am about my Landy and telling everyone that it didn't breakdown just the part....!!!

No worries. I hope that you get it sorted.
I know what you mean. No none Landy owner can ever insult my, or any other Landy.
Although my defence does sometimes consist off "It's a defender, bits fall off sometimes. You just get another bit and bolt it back on" followed by a shrug. People that own or love Defenders get it. Quite a few people don't. Those people are strange.
