Unbelievable, in it's ten years since new it's had the lot, problems with locks, oil coolers, new radiator, handbook symbol!, new automatic gearbox, new turbo and that's just the ones that i have had since i bought it 2 or 3 years ago. Now it looks like the turbo is shot again. Without a doubt the rangerover is the most unreliable vehicle ever and I still love the thing!. Everyone lives on tenderhooks with rangerovers just hoping everything that goes wrong will not involve a trip to "the Dealer". They are expensive to buy used and then in the next few years you will nearly equal that figure with things going wrong and thats if you're lucky!. I have never taken it off road, never towed till a couple of weeks ago and still it has only lasted ten years!. Just after one thing goes wrong I always say to the girlfriend "well that's ok it will only go once in the life of the car"!, and then a couple of months later she strikes again (the Rangee) with something else wiping your bank account again.
I truly love the Rangerover inside and out but now things are getting silly and now I will even struggle to sell it for parts!!.
