spotted this 1979 S111 109 outside a scrap yard over the weekend:
Amazingly, it’s worse than it looks. According to the dvla, it was last on the road in 2003 and since the the bulk head has rotted to such an extent that the doors have fallen off.
Even the exhaust down pipe has vanished into ferrous oxide:
I didn’t poke at the chassis, which has heavy surface corrosion but no obvious holes. It probably would have holes if you poked it with a screw driver though...
I’m a sucker for this sort of thing, but I fear it’d be a massive money pit and end up being a Series equivalent of “Trigger’s broom”!!!
Shame: it looks as though it wants to be saved...
