Probably somewhere between matt and satin.
The nice thing about the one I linked to is how it covers scratches and imperfections. My spare wheel holder was pretty bad so I used a wire wheel disk on an angle grinder to clean it up which left it covered in scratches. The Tetrosyl I linked to covered the scratches really well leaving a nice finish.
 
It's official - I'm not dead.
Sun came out so I finished the tailgate jobs then actually started and moved the thing. Spun it round so I can service it and change the timing belt. Also got a bit slap-happy with the linseed oil.

Need an extension bar to reach the spark plugs and a 10mm hex socket to get the side steps off. Off to the shops.
 
Two hours of uninterrupted fiddling today. Amazing.
Roof bars assembled and fitted.
Fuel tank cradle de-scaled. A surprising amount of metal remains.
Wheel off and arch lining removed ready for timing belt change.
New set of plugs fitted. Old ones seemed to be gapped to about 2mm. Need some new HT leads to go with the new dizzy cap and rotor.
Seem to have cured (finally) the internal mould issue. Pleasant. Bang! And it's gone.
