Sheesh, Sue, you're just not doing enough! Did you think organising the groups, researching/planning the route, detailing places to stay, maintaining the thread and leading a group was all it took - that's just the start :eek:

The least you could do is organise all the accommodation (including paying any deposits obviously), in fact, I think you should negotiate a discount by cooking everyone breakfast too! :D:D:D

Just been given a cb with some bits. Haven't a clue if it works. Any point bringing it - will there be any experts going who will be able to confirm my suspicion that nobody gives anything away if it works.

Might be better to find out before then you can actually use it on the weekend. I dont think its hard to wire it to a power supply and attach the aerial. The easiest way to test it is to use it, you just need someone else with one fitted :D
 
Looking doubtful for me :( don't think I've got enough for fuel! Just dropped 200 on exhaust bits and a new radiator!

Will see how my balance looks at the start of next week
