Evening folks , got an issue had a windscreen replaced on a 2003 D2 and it’s leaking water in behind the glove box on passenger side. Now it’s never done this before it’s only started to leak after the windscreen was replaced. Can anyone shed some light on this as it’s now driving me crazy.

The top part of the windscreen is bone dry.

Don't waste your own time. go back to the peeps who fitted it and get them to do it again. Properly.
 
Ok will do , do you know what it could be causing it ? Took them 3 attempts already to stop water coming in from top of windscreen & they nailed that & now this.

No idea, not being a windscreen fitter. Can only imagine there is some distortion somewhere, or else rust is getting in the way.
Only other thing i can think of is that the windscreen is OK but something else in the bulkhead got disturbed.
Are you absolutely sure it is actually coming in from the base of the screen?
If you really are then I would say that you would be best off taking it back to them.

When you mean bulkhead , is there something I should look for ?
Don't know where you come from so you may not understand the term, think "firewall" if you like.
There are many holes, to put it basically, in the bulkhead between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment. If not properly sealed almost all of them can allow water ingress. They are a pain to find and there isn't much you can do other than simply removing stuff and looking continuously further and further up until you get to the screen. Hoping to find the point at which water is coming in. I take it you have checked to see that it isn't coolant and you don't have a leak from the heating system?
Think wiring grommets, heater pipes, cool air vents, aircon stuff, etc, others on here will know more accurately than me.

Well to be precise, I did mention it amongst the other stuff, but this is a more precise clarification.
If you didn't have the leak before and now you do, I would always assume it is unlikely to be a coincidence.
As i said before, it the windscreen opening is distorted it maybe that if it fits at the bottom it won't at the top, or if it fits at the top, it won't fit at the bottom.
My D1 leaked at the top, until I peeled back the rubber, cleaned out the rusty yuk and sealed it the special silicone stuff the windscreen fitters use. which cured it. But I think D2 screens fit differently, so you may need to think outside the box to cure all this.
 
Hey Folks, after drying out the footwell etc I decided to pour some water over the wiper blades to see what the issue may be and to eliminate certain elements.

Let me know your thoughts on what could cause this , am going to be calling the insurance company on Monday for the 5th time
Is this cos the windscreen was replaced after an accident, or damage to the screen?
Maybe a dumb question i know!

The air con pipes actually drain either side of the gear box. I asume you meant the front suroof.

It is a long time since I had this problem but from memory the aircon unit mounted centrally above the transmission tunnel under the front dash collects condensed water in an open drip tray with a drain in each end.
The drains pass either side of the transmission tunnel within the car right up against the front bulkhead and pass out either side of the gearbox one is above the xyz switch which causes all the bother with it.
If the drains become blocked the water overflows the drip tray and collects in either or both front footwells.
