After getting my EKA code it seems I can enter it I presume due to the switches that register the key position being faulty.
I wonder if I can just bypass these by jumping the wires through the
actuator connector block.
Has anyone done this with sucess?
If the 1,2,3 in your lock diagram are the micro switches then I would say yes. But I don’t know the disco so don’t blame me if you make some of that electric smoke stuff.

Little update.
So I think the above method for entering the EKA code is working. However I am getting a strange result. Which still means I'm not able to start the car.
What's happening is as soon as i have entered the code the immobiliser light turns off and not after 5 mins as to the procedure. However when I try and start the car there's no effect just like when the immobiliser is on. This happens straight away or if I wait the full 5 mins.
As above I'm doing this from within the car jumping the door switch connector.
One alarm sensor (rear) is disconnected and all doors and windows closed throughout procedure.
Getting a bit desperate now!
