A question on behalf of my friend..(honest, it's not me being embarrassed!!).

My Bud recently joined the Disco legion with an 04 Td5. He bought a 7 seater, what he is trying to find out..he has taken the 2 rear seats out as he doesn't need them..he is wondering, would the rear cubby boxes (as fitted in a 5 seater) fit into the spaces where the seats once were? Is it a simple bolt in job..or is the rear of a 5 seater completely different design to allow for the compartments?

Has anyone tried this..or can anyone offer advice i can pass along..(he is currently without access to the interweb).

Yep straight swap both ways. People with 5 seaters are always after the rear seats so Stick a wanted ad in on a few forums and he'll soon find someone to swap em with.

yes - the cubby boxes are a straight fit - tried one of my mates - but I can't find any in Alpaca beige - all the ones on ebay or forums etc always seem to be in grey. - so if anyone has any rear cubby boxes in Alpaca I have a pair of spare rear seats in Alpaca beige leather.
