Hi, I have a 1992 Rangie Vogue SE auto and think it has cruise control but don't know how to work it.

It has a button that looks like a motorway sign that lights up when I press it but it doesn't seem to do anything. There are also two buttons on the steering wheel but I can't read what they do as they're worn.

Does anyone know if my model has cruise control and if so, how to make it work?

Also, if the above buttons aren't cruise control, what do they do?

Cheers

Paul

Yep you got cruise,

you push the button with the motorway sign on to activate the system

then once you are at the speed you want to cruise at (must be more than 30 mph you push the L/Hand button on the steering wheel.
Take you foot off the gas and she will hold that speed. if you need to accelerate past some thing, just accelerate as usual and when you take your foot off the gas she will return to the set speed.
If you brake the cruise will disengage but simply pushing the r/Hand button will get her to accelerate back to the set speed again.

If yours is a manual touching the clutch pedal will also disengage the cruise - If its an auto the car does all the work.

Another couple of things, once you are in 'cruise', you can increase the speed in 1 mph incriments by simply pressing the l/hand 'set' button, keep on 'tapping' it & the speed will gradually increase without touching the throttle pedal.
If whilst it cruise, you touch the pedals & release the cruise, press the r/hand button & it resumes back to your previous cruise setting
