LRDirect have been fine, i ordered a load of seals for the transfer box and a flange recently and they came in the time frame specified.

never had an issue with paddocks

gave up on craddocks a few years ago after ordering G part numbers and just being sent the normal ****part offerings
As I said in an earlier post LRDirect have been fine in the past and I've used them a lot. I might have been unlucky during the lockdown, but I suspect not. I called a lot of times, the phone system gave the usual list of numbered options, but it didn't matter which one you tried it eventually led you to the answer machine. I think it was great that they continued to sell stuff, but they should have had some support available for when it went wrong. They might have been open, but all it did for me was waste a lot of my time making calls and writing emails. It also kept my landy of the road for a few weeks until I gave up and bought some pads off eBay.

My local Indy has been happy to do the leg work for some of my items in the past month. Normally they don’t like me as I won’t give vin number as parts don’t match. & they open on a Saturday with a face & phone. I do quote part numbers for them

It's great if you've got a good local Indy. Mine used to be, but they changed their business model a few years ago. They get a lot of service work from people with new LR's. There's always a lot of vehicles lined up outside. No time for customers like me who's just buying parts and not paying them labour. I used them for donkeys years, but haven't been for about two. I won't be going back, but they won't miss me as they must be making a fortune!

I placed an order with Craddocks on the 1st June. Payment was taken on the 2nd. After three weeks of waiting nothing arrived. I emailed and phoned and eventually was told they were waiting for parts. They should state this when you order online not after 3 weeks of sitting on your money! I asked them to send the parts they did have in stock and refund the parts they didn't. After another week still no refund and no parts. I demanded and got confirmation of a full refund on the 3rd July. Unsurprisingly I still haven't received my money.

To be honest I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to C19 but in hindsight the last 3 orders I'd placed with them were a total shambles. I placed the order with PA Blanchard and received the parts within two days. Great service and when you phone they answer the phone. Simple effective service.

Sounds like my experience with Craddocks is not uncommon. They will not be getting any of my future business.
