Anyone Actually made contact with Craddocks????
Placed a order 5 weeks ago.Tryied calling 4 times today at least 30-40mins on hold each time.. No answer.
Various Emails to different Email Addresses.... No Answer.
Facebook / Twitter.... NO Answer.

Yes, they took my £26 weeks ago and have yet to send me the item. Did manage to get them on the phone once, but still no luck.
Will be leaving the country soon so will be forced to email them to hang on to it, or send it elsewhere or summat. don't want it standing on the doorstep for two weeks telling everyone we are away.:(
 
Odd looks like their website not active on my Safari throws security issue. I would try calling again tomorrow, if no joy. either they are on lockdown and their website not update security.
 
My other half ordered a set of britpart wind deflectors beging of May for my birthday at end of May, 3 weeks into it after two emails she had both said something like “were busy dispatching orders, but due to covid Bla bla bla” she replied stating it was a birthday present and asked for a rough idea eg. This week or within next 7 days etc, again same email back so she sent another saying forget the order, cancel it and refund it.. 2 days later they arrived in the most battered box ever, luckily britpart had boxed them again inside so no damage.

Would I personally use them- no. I understand things get delayed but not that much especially with unhelpful emails and blaming curriers, can’t say for all uk but round Manchester/ north west curriers are all managing next day services fine.
 
I've ordered three different lots of stuff from JGS in the last couple of weeks, they've all arrived within four days.
 
My problem could just be with the rarity of the item I've ordered, waist seal for inside of nearside front window in a Disco 2. Struggled to find anyone who did not have "out of stock" even if they had it listed at all. But still, comms ain't what they should be.
 
Looking at google reviews it sounds like craddocks mark everything as in stock when it Realy isn’t. There excuse for not answering phone or long delivery’s due to covid is a pathetic excuse when people like paddocks are still dispatching ontime and Bearmach still working to a next day service. You can understand and a day or two late or such but people having to wait weeks or months, quite a lot on google reviews have raised it with credit card firms to get there money back as craddocks won’t reply.
 
They are scum they took my money and after 4 weeks started a paypal refund against them then they answer the numerous emails saying that the parts will shipped soon so I cancelled the paypal action waited another week and still no parts so contacted them again with the threat of Trading Standards and the fact they were scum for hiding behind Covid 19 and I got a message back on Friday saying that the parts had been shipped and would arrive on Monday but later I found that they had refunded my money the same day they said the parts had been shipped They are total scum
 
Companies like that need shutting down. Like you say there taking money and hiding behind covid.

I gave up on them recently, their customer service is crap, very little communication, Paddocks on the other hand managed to send me stuff all through lockdown with very little delay and emails to update order progress.
 
well today i managed to talk to someone....
thought i would try and call the Servicing dept and then see if they cold transfer me to someone in Parts/Orders....
and it worked..... Spoke to someone who made suspect excuses for the internet being down for Two weeks.... Yawwwn
Anyhow have promised to Cancel my order with Refund once internet is fixed.... i promised on Friday to call again to double check its done before calling Small Claims....

Yep Agree on Paddocks they have been great and Call / Email if problem...

Well mine is like that!
Or a new one from the US at twice the price including postage that Craddocks have taken.
I'll email them yet again. and maybe try again to phone them.:rolleyes:
