So, finally got around to closing up the crack in the front bumper via something I found out about on youtube - a Drifter's Stitch. A bit more permanent than duct tape & a lot less expensive than plastic welding (I don't have a plastic welding kit). I don't have any rivets for my pop riveter either!

That SO needs a bow at the top :D

About £50 off Ebay and do work (repaired a caravan front panel with one)

Neat idea will remember that.

Go buy some black and clear ones though for a colour coordinated repair :D

I wish, bob, I wish!! ..... Then again, using metal tie wraps..? :mad2: Nah! Any flex and they'd start sawing each other apart I guess.

You've done a neat job there....
Dunno if I'd stick it on my truck in red but I do have a couple of jobs where that could be handy.
Got a cracked headlight surround that I may give ago, worst comes to worse it's no good to me anyway :)
Dunno if the plastic might be too brittle. Every time I do a big splash the water cracks it some more....

Trillo - I just wanted it to stand out, hence the red tie wraps (zip ties) :D

Let us know how it goes with the headlight surround.

If I go ahead I'll certainly let you lot know :)
Still thinking the plastic may be too brittle, but it's not much good to me now and if I don't try, I won't know :D
