The switch for the courtesy lights is a spring plunger fixed to the A or B posts.
When the door is shut it presses in the plunger switching the lights off.
If they do not work it is generally rust on the screws. Remove the screw and grease the thread or replace with another self tapper.
What a load of tosh. The switch on a p38 is part of the door lock. If you don't know, don't post.
Hi chaps,
Thanks for that, the auto set for the courtesy lights is on and all the doors operate the lights except for the front passenger door.
So, as the central locking for both the front doors isn't working and as I've been putting off the inevitable mind snapping fiddling about that is going to be the replacement of the door locks since I've had the P38 in question, I 'spose I'd better take a **** load of heroine and get on with it!
While I've got your attention though chaps, has anyone seen, looked at or got this 'Faskit' system for the auto air suspension? (www.faskit.net)
Cheers,
D
Looks expensive and pointless to me. 4 shrader valves with suitable connections and a 12 volt tyre inflater would do the same thing.
I did not look a the bottom of the post; so missed that it was a P38.
What a stupid imature comment.
