And why do you think thats is? Its because the banks are fooked and are not willing to gamble as much anymore as they was allowed to under Labour. I now have a 160k mortgage round my neck on a house that was worth around 65k 10 years ago. Its the same house, in fact its deteriated as its aged but Labour thought it was a good idea to let the prices rise. Oh goody, more stamp duty money to us and the banks get to give out big mortgages and make loads of money, win win.

I dont like any political party but the only way of getting shot of labour unfortunatly was to vote conservative. At least we have a choice, in the States you are one thing or another for life it seems :D
 
Erm..your arguments flawed Tusken..if you bought it for 65k 10 years ago and its worth more now then surely thats a good thing? If however you have continually upped your mortgage then surely thats your fault?

People think buying a house is the road to riches..they forget prices go down too..weren't many complaining when their house price jumped and they took the equity out..

stupid people like yourself re-mortage your house so many times and couldn't afford to pay for it!!! And the bullocks about house price increase has been like that forever!! 40 years ago house prices were about £10,000 and the average car was £1,000 was that labour's fault that car prices went up aswell?

We were all fed up with labour I am not denying THAT. But voting CON was not the answer!
 
under a labour govt scottish widows wanted to give me a 103% mortgauge=instant neg equity. the bank crisis was caused by banks.

Hang on there, “Homes under the hammer” is one of the best programs on the telly. Where else could you see so many ****e thick people on one program; apart from big brother I suppose.

ok folks pay attention to what happened in the usa under pres bush. big business( bank oil) run the country. the fat dogs eat the most we...... get the left overs. don't remortage your house, the bank is businees to seperate u from your money that is what they do best. that is why my brit wife and I are leaving the usa for south west uk. SO ALL U FINE PEOPLE ON THIS LR SITE DO UR THINGS KEEP UR MONEY FIX UR STUFF DONT FOLD TO BIG BUSINESS GIVE IT A COULPE YEARS AND HOLD IN THEIR REALLY TITE DON'T GIVE UP UR VAVULES. Other than your bad english spelling i agree with you ! ive lost count the number of english folk who came to france on the strength of a bank loan against their house in the uk .. now its all gone tits up and that dream cottage is a millstone round their necks their going back by the dozen ...;)....in spain its even worse
