Ahh the dreaded coolant loss!

First of all there is no smoke, water in the oil or overheating it just seems to be disappering slowly!

One thing i've noticed is if i release the expansion tank cap after a drive the coolant will rise.

The engine doesn't knock or run badly there is plenty of power!

Just at a loss tbf! :confused:
 
Check the carpet on,in the front right foot well ....Seal to heater maybe ,Been covered many times.;).
 
Try UV dye in the coolant and then check the dipstick after a 1000 miles or so with a UV torch.

I did my matrix o rings... twice.. turns out it was the matrix core..

that was the month after I did my HG because number 7 was leaking into the chamber..

if you want to see if its the HG, pull all the plugs out.. if the HG has gone, you'll see a steam cleaned spark plug
 
I thought throttle body ,but he never said what engine ....Throw some stop leak in it :rolleyes:,Wont seal a water pump or metal parts but will on rad ect .Doint use that copper stuff it sits in the water bottle ,showing the world uv used it ......:)

He said lots of power so I assumed he wasn't talking about the doozle!! (now hiding behind sofa!!) :p:Do_O

Thats the usual suspect. Replace with genuine LR & check the surface of the throttle body plate as they have a tendency to leak again PDQ.
