What EAS issues are you having? It's just my thought that with the price of the kits anyway you could probably sort out the eas issues for the money or less. Having driven a p38 with the spring conversion it's no fun.Long time lurker
I'm having issues with my P38 EAS and thinking about a coil conversion kit
I've found several kits, some include shock absorbers (terrafirma) and some not (britpart)
Should I be buying a kit with shocks as well as springs?
Any advice would be great.

Take the feed off the pump put your finger over the outlet and run pump. I fit doesn't blow it off the pump is U/SThe EAS faults range from air pressure valves and more recently the issue is something along the lines of pressure constantly low. In not with my laptop so can't remember the text.
Car won't rise at all now despite clearing the faults. Rides really hard.
Has a hard fault and needs clearing before it will work again. Do you not have nanocom or Storey Wilsons software to clear it. @Datatek can help you out if notIt's not rising at all, trys but eventually the EAS Fault flashes up and Slow 55kph appears.
I guess the pump is US
There are 3 possibilities, weak compressor, split diaphragm valve or a leaking air bag. The first is often cased by the second or the third.I have storey Wilson software and cleared all faults. Car still not rising. I'll check out the guide
I think you can't rule out a failing air tank either they aren't getting any younger and they do rustThere are 3 possibilities, weak compressor, split diaphragm valve or a leaking air bag. The first is often cased by the second or the third.
Still worth check out for leaks on the airbags and line, usually the compressor gets overworked due to leaks and that’s why the compressor then fails.Ok, following the EAS Guide you have all linked me to, I have discovered that the compressor is not blowing out much air.
I can certainly stop the air with my finger.
I've ordered a replacement compressor as the time it's going to take for the repair kit to get to the Republic of Ireland is two weeks whereas the new compressor will be here on Tuesday! I'm hoping to take the RR on holiday the following week.
Hopefully that will resolve the issues and there'll be no more talk of coils!!
Anything else I should be thinking about.
OEM Dunlop ones, they are usually around £60 eachI'll do the soapy water test when I fit the new one next week.
I've certainly had one airbag replaced during a service so I guess it won't hurt to have them replaced. Any recommendations as to what bags to go for?
Bit more i think nowOEM Dunlop ones, they are usually around £60 each
