Iv still got all my led light bulbs so i want a clear light set BUT heres the BUT

Are the lense fitment all the same from the very first defender? because iv just bought a new (to me) defender puma and reading this auction he states these only fit upto 1996!:doh: when i asked could he explain why and would they fit my puma his reply was more or less (i dont no i couldnt care)

Early lights were a 1-piece back moulding with a removable lense for bulb-changing. Later lights (probably the 1996 mentioned) had the lense bonded to the body and a removable bulb-holder fitted into the rear, these used the 2/3-pin waterproof connectors.
If you want to fit clear lenses then you will have to replace the whole light body instead.

Ahhhh cheers for that its odd because my td5 had removable clear lenses but you could also remove the bulb holder to and the 2-3 pin plug!

Maybe the lenses are removable on later ones, I thought they weren't and the separate bulb-holder was the only access into the light (like on NAS ones)?
