Drop some injector cleaner in and drive it like you stole it, also make sure the EGR & manifold are clean including the MAP sensor, a nice clean air filter too. not for getting the PCV filter.

All the filters have been replaced previously including the crankcase breather filter with the cyclone unit.
This stuff any good. Probably have to do it on Saturday as only just seen this reply

Passed the mot, and bought some injector cleaner, took it on the motorway for 2 junctions, and noticed a huge change, still got a little bit of misfire, but monumentally better, was approaching the junction back home and it went into limp mode, pulled over, switched off, waited a minute and car was fine.
Why would it do that, was that some of the crud being shifted?

It wouldn't be anything to do with the crud from the injectors. It's more likely to be a bad connection on the rail sensor or the low pressure fuel pump failing.
The low pressure fuel pump, is that the one behind the rear wheel arch, if so, that was replaced last year. Probably a connection, will check it out later
