nice one simon. . . .:)

What chip did you go for? Was it a self install or a tuning company job?

Want to do mine but unsure which way to go!

where was it done...
how much has power gone to....
what was involved....
how much was it....
has it been rolling roaded...
????????

JE engineering is the company that did it
the increase in power was measured by its 0 to 60 time not a rolling road. but it took over 2.5 seconds off its 0 to 60 time which was calculated to be around 152 bhp. one thing to remember though is each car is different and that is why I did not quote the power output because some cars get a better gain others dont. but they esimate most get in the region of 145 BHP and 240 lb/f of torque it took them 2 hours and they uses a computer to speak to the ECU and Remapp it to the improved settings. mine was half prise they have an offer on for june so I payed £285 it should be around £450. there is an artical in LRO international which another person has it done which should give you some more details

Gerrit roverron'd Andy!:D :D :D

Its half the price of there special hoffer! and the auto box loves it ;) :D

I have just got one of Rons tuning boxes for my wifes TD4, i run it on setting 6 and the car is transformed.

Her car was always decent before the upgrade as the MAF is always kept clean and works fine but with the addition of the TU3 unit even the wife asked me what i had done to her car as it felt much more responsive and quicker through the gears, now for a woman to notice it must be good.

It is the best tuning upgrade available based on value and performance and i would recommend it to anybody.

Hi All

Am also thinking about getting a "roverron" box but my insurance company wont cover "performance tuning" to the vehicle - have to laugh at that - its a diesel!! what have you all done about this,
Only want whe extra power for towing, its not like i`m going to be sat at traffic lights waiting for boy racers!

Regards
