Found this engine oil on ebay that you guys might find interesting

Postage is £6.99 for first can then £2.00 thereafter. I just bought 30litres for £76.93 inc postage​

I must admit I've been taking my D2 to Kwik Fit.

They have a fixed price oil and 1 filter change for any vehicle. £29.90 all it. For the D2 they charge an extra £5.

Last time I took it there I had my own filters (£4.50 for 2 Bearmach filters via e bay). They charged £25 as they didn't have to supply filters. That works out at around £3 per litre. Your price works out at just over £2.50 per litre.
 
At my rate of changing my engine oil every two years it would take ten years to use 30 ltrs :D

It's £29.90 for an oil change with ONE filter for any car. The D2 uses two filters, so they charged me a extra £5 for the 2nd filter. Fair enough I thought.

The 2nd time I took my own filters. They charged me £25 just for the oil.

At about 8 litres that's just over £3 per litre.

Obviously if you drive in in a fiesta or something that takes about a pint, then it is probably cheaper to do it yourself, but when you need about 8 litres for the disco then it makes sense. No one locally sells the oil that cheap.

Only six litres is used per oil change with a V8, so every two years the oil is changed and that would equal the 30 ltrs after ten years, and there's no topping up over that period required either, brilliant....it's only a weekend motor you see :D
 
Use tractor universal oil ... the best oil you can buy with money!

Wilko semi synthetic acea A3/B3 API sl/cf 10w40 £9.99 thats £2.0 per litre.Bastids have put it up , it was £8.50! :D
