I have a 96 p38 2.5TD with grey leather seats (heated seats, manually adjustable).

I want to put in black seats, but the only ones I can find are electric. Is it possible to get the electrics working and how?

Thanks

Check bcem is Highline, been covered many times before

Mine has an H on it....the one I took out had an L. Fitted the H and seats worked right off.
Cheaper to wire them up I would have thought..

The becm under the drivers seat has H or L on the top if its a H you may need to get the wiring loom too but should just plug in and work but if its a L you will need to construct a relay assembly (not easy unless your good at electronics)
The other option if its a low is to swop the covers onto your manual seat bases not a small job eather but easyer than the relay idea

Sweet mine has a H on it! Does that mean electric seats can just plug straight into it?

There's two looms you need off the top of my head. One goes to the passenger side & then it returns to the drivers, but wammers or datatek can confirm this.
If the numbers have rubbed off the becm & the range rover has a sunroof, it's a H highline.

A couple of different looms depending on seats. Just electric heated seats or memory seats. Think only the later one with memory is available these days. So if anybody buys seats make sure you get the loom with them.

buying a full set of black leather electric seats, wiring harness included and all interior panels to make it match, got a pretty good deal for the lot shipped, seats are in mint condition
