So having decided that my 101 looks a little like a sardine can in silver i have decided to change the colour.
After reading a load of posts about rolling i decided to give it a shot using a harris foam roller (which most agree is great for this sort of thing). I did my gearbox cover but the paint dried a bit orange peely so i opted for a sparygun from screwfix (£20). So glad i did, the longest part was the prep which i did using a scotchbrite pad in tricky areas and a dual action orbital sander with 180 grit paper. Once it was all keyed the first spray took 45 mins top to bottom. I was about to start the second coat but my elderly next door neighbour has just put out her washing right behind (3 feet away) my 101!! :scratching_chin:
Im sure she is going to look great once finished.
