Hi all, I just changed the air bags for the spring option. The car sits and rides ok but the ride height light light stays on, on the dash and I now have a wining noise in the car!!! I assume the noise is the pump that used to pump the airbags but I don't need that anymore and the light needs to go out too. I pulled the hight sensing lever conection apart and the fuses and relays out but the light is still there and so is the noise. The noise sounds like a non tuned radio. Any Ideas again please?

There is a harness you can buy to cut out the EAS system. The noise is the car telling you in Range Roverese that it should have air suspension and it is not happy with springs.:D:D:D

Ouch. I was presented with this option on my 02 but opted out as I did the castration job on my 99 Disco and was disappointed with the ride. Never again for me. I think it is worth the effort to salvage the system if you have the bucks.

It's usually cheaper to fix the air suspension system than replace it with dangerous springs too.

What you can hear is the sound of your Range rover crying. Imagine how you would feel is the hospital told you that they had amputated your leg because you'd sprained your ankle.
