3.9 ,4.2 .4 .4.6 all have same bore diameter only stroke alters
Pretty sure the capacity is changed by stroke not cylinder size so that would be wrong. The walls are the same thickness on em.
Actually, I think you're right about them being stroked rather than bored out, not sure why the 4.6 would be more susceptible to slipped liners or headgasket failure then? Sure I read it (a lot!) when I was looking, though!
Sleaford? Have to look out for that. My two local ones are 77.9. Just come back from a weekend in Devon and that was all about the same except for one place which was 86.9 - thieving gits.

Update on LPG price.
Discovered on Sunday 18/09 that the Shell garage on the A1 at Buckden round-about (near Huntingdon) has re-opened and is selling LPG at 73.9p/ltr.
Down again to 69.9! 17/10/11 (Shell, A1, Buckden r/about near Huntingdon.)Further to above - LPG now 70.9p/ltr at above service station. (290911)
