Previously fitted to my Series 3 but never used, the reality is I probably never will so it would be better off with someone else.

GLR101 Fairey capstan short bollard winch, together with the brackets etc to operate it; also comes with the stubby cranking handle so it can be operated manually and the owners/parts manual. In addition, I have a cab-mounted hand throttle (currently fitted to my landy) and a chunky natural robe with a hook on one end specifically for this style of winch which will go with it. I believe this winch works with the standard starter dog as fitted to my landy, but specific starter dogs are available elsewhere.

It is all in un-restored but fully working order.

There aren't many of these available at any one time so putting a price on it is difficult. I've found fully restored examples without the hand throttle, handle or rope for £1,500. This lot must be worth £600 but I am open to offers.

Location, Haywards Heath, Sussex. Collection preferable due to weight but I'm open to P&P or local delivery but negotiation.

Pictures of the throttle, handle and rope to follow. EDIT: NOW ADDED. Happy to answer any questions.

Would it be possible for you to pm me some pictures of the instruction fitting manual. I am trying to work out where the shaft bracket would go for it, as it is different from others I have seen. I want to work out how much chassis drilling would be required to fit it, I have a glav chassis and am reluctant to fill it full of holes for something that will be very very rarely used.

Yes happy to. I've got some photos of the bracket welded to my old chassis, I'll upload those to this thread too (this eve).

Would be great if you could, I would love one, but I am very reluctant to excessively cut/drill/weld my galv chassis

Hi @dag019 Sorry for the slow response, the Mrs's car failed the MOT and I've been having to get it back together after hours.

Just looked for the numerous photos I took for this very reason and cant find them anywhere :( I have added a photo of the relevant bracket page of the manual for you to give you the jist. Its basically 2 riv-nuts to mount the rod bracket on the under side of the cross member (or weld on, as mine was) and 5 in the front to mount the winch plate.
