Thinking about painting my old and very faded canvas. Found this... anyone ever use this or something similar?

I did. It makes the canvas quite stiff. It’s sorted if like a surface coat iyswim

It didn’t, but it looked ‘painted’ on. I didn’t use the same brand as you, and it was a number of years ago so I can’t remember either.

Test it first on a piece of scrap, perhaps ring them and ask for a tester sample pot?

What are you trying to achieve?...a change of colour or a camo look?...

Colour change, the canvas is old but still sound. Has faded very badly.

couldn't you just dye it?

I haven't really looked into dyeing it. Thought painting might be slightly less messy.
