I would say start with youtube.

What year?
If you have the touch screen you can see if it's enabled and if it works before spending on a remote.

Is it actually not working or are you just looking to be able to start it remotely? It should come on below 5ºC when the engine is running so you need to make sure that is happening first. If you just want to add a remote function to it then it's not as simple as the later cars as they were all pre-wired.

I did it years ago for the wife's Freeloader and bought a remote 2 channel relay to fire the heater and turn on the blower motor. I have a feeling that you need to get 12v to the grey/green wire on Pin 3 of the 6 pin connector on the heater so that it basically thinks the temp sender is telling it that it's below 5ºc out there. DEFINITELY CHECK THIS INFO, my memory isn't all that and the info is from 10 year old notes for a different car so please don't take my word as gospel.

I think it may be broke :)

What diagnostic tool do you have as some of them can see the FBH and show fault codes?

Pulling fuse 59 for a few minutes may reset the FBH.

If you have the Telestart remote you should see the receiver in the rear fusebox

ok no box but do have a connector with 3 wires colour matched to those in the pic but a different style of connector

Oops. Just corrected my post. 12v feed is orange, White/Green is the signal to the FBH. Brown is earth.
