was going to add the K at the end, reminds me when the used to put body kits on 1.1 escorts to make them look like xr3i's :D

There is no price on the range over kits, how much are they out of curiosity?

The price does depend on whether or not you buy just the kit and get the work done by someone else or you get Range Over to do the conversion.

If your able to do the work yourself then its going to be far cheaper.

People on here have slagged them off for over charging, but they forget they were getting the work done by Range Over which included the kit, labour and a complete new paint job and some also had new alloys and tyres as part of the deal and then complained their wallets weren't big enough when they saw the bill go higher and higher.....

Give them a call and see what they have to say...I'm interested myself.

so £1200 for the car £1500 for the kit god know how much the insurance would go up. Is it worth it????

Dear All,

I have been trying to sell the P38 2.5DSE, its a really nice car metalic blue leather etc..and has been exceptionally looked after ie full LR service history and repair. To many new parts to mention ie all new brakes, EAS compressor, springs etc...

Only thing is its high mileage 119500, but engine and gearbox is sweet as a nut and pulls considerably well for a diesel.

I tried it at 8k which yes I know is a bit heavy. I have dropped it down to 6,995 the only offers I have had is 4k px or 4k from a dealer.

I dont want to give it away. What is its true value? Is it just the wrong time to be selling this car should I wait. Also all the calls I have received are from the sign in its window rather than Auto Trader and webisites etc..

Welcome you thoughts, even if it is just a reality check on its value.

Thanks

Chris
Parkers on line guide for £2.99 (valid web entry for 24 hours) will give you exact price. Used Prices - Parker's

Plus the lights, wheels, fitting, painting etc - probably looking at another £2500 on top I would guess!

total waste of time, looks nothing like the real thing, and expect to get laughed at a lot by anyone with half a brain when it comes to cars.

No kit is perfect, but I don't think they as bad as your making out. Besides, it's a cosmetic lift to bring the P38 up to date. Even if you did the lights and grille only, it would make the P38 more modern looking.

It's me that bought the cheap P38..

The OP wants rather a lot more than I paid.

Having said that, he's unlikely to spend the next few months chasing electrical gremlins.

for me, even if they fit perfect they look ridiculous. just trying to be something its not, dated lines and everything else with a modern front end that will add almost no value to low value cars is money down the drain imo.;) just my opinion.
