Hi there just got my first Discovery and would like to know if i can put side steps from a Discovery 2 on a Discovery 1 300tdi to make life easier getting in and out. Cheers

Why dont you fit disco 1 side steps ?

I can see yer point but would of thought it a bit obvious....

i.e. Can I fit disco 1 side steps on a disco 1??

Don't know... what's your skills level? but if u mean will D2 side steps fit a D1 then YES but the 'mounting brackets' won't as they have different mounting points.

Cheers for the advice I just wondered about bolting them on if they were like for like as it just seems easier to find cheap disco 2 side steps then disco 1 steps second hand is all.

D1 step mounting brackets do come up on eBay now & again.
