Hi there Folks,
Been out today in the range rover and there was a warning beep 3 times in a row, but I could not see any dash displays at the same time, has anyone had this problem before?

Doh!!
Its a P38 4 litre SE model R reg. Done 200 miles today and has not done it at all, but the window reset needs done again for some reason.

Any info would be good.

Sorry, not sure bout P38. I had a L322, which would sporadically make three beeps at me - nothing on the dash to tell me anythin. It did it every couple of months. Put it down to Solihull electrical gremlin installation team.

The Window reset would only need doin if the Battery had been disconnected... just check yer Battery leads in case one is loose

I had the same issue on a 4.6. Occasionally I got a gearbox overheat on the dash (Normally after I came off the shuttle). Stopped, switched off and started again no problems.

I put it down to electrical interference.

Maybe an earthing issue?

Ray,
It just so happens that I covered another 200 miles and I got the 3 beeps once and it came up with the gearbox overheat warning as well., it flashed up for less than a second when I was sitting at about 70 in traffic in the fast lane, so I never had a chance to investigate or stop and I compelted another 100 miles without getting the warning again so I think it might be the same as your one. I will investigate the electrics when I return from work in couple of weeks.
Thanks for the replies.
